Booking Terms and Conditions

Bookings are refundable until 14 days prior to the tour, within 14 days – 48 hours a 50% cancellation fee will apply, 48 hours – 0 hours incurs a 100% cancellation fee.

Our tours operate in all weather, however if a severe weather warning is in place, we will offer either a change of date, change of location where possible or a full refund.

On Tour Terms And Conditions

At Australia By Nature, we are committed to providing safe, enjoyable and memorable nature-based experiences for all guests. By participating in one of our tours, you agree to the following conditions.

1. Respect for Others

All guests are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow guests, guides, local communities, wildlife and the environments we visit.

Any form of abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, threatening or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated.

2. Alcohol and Drugs

Guests must not be intoxicated or under the influence of illegal drugs when joining or participating in a tour.

Australia By Nature reserves the right to refuse boarding or terminate a guest's participation at any time if we believe their behaviour, intoxication or impairment may:

  • compromise the safety of themselves or others

  • negatively impact the experience of other guests

  • damage property or the environment

  • place our guides or suppliers at risk

No refund will be provided where participation is refused or terminated due to inappropriate behaviour or intoxication.

3. Right to Cancel or Modify a Tour

Australia By Nature reserves the right to cancel, postpone, modify or shorten a tour where necessary due to circumstances including but not limited to:

  • unsafe weather conditions

  • bushfires, floods or other natural events

  • road closures

  • National Park closures

  • safety concerns

  • vehicle issues

  • guide illness

  • inappropriate guest behaviour

Where a tour is cancelled by Australia By Nature before departure for reasons outside a guest's control, an alternative date or refund will be offered where appropriate.

4. Safety

Guests must follow all instructions provided by their guide at all times.

Failure to follow safety directions may result in removal from the tour without refund if your actions place yourself, other guests or staff at risk.

5. Health and Fitness

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically capable of participating in the booked experience.

Please advise us prior to departure of any:

  • medical conditions

  • allergies

  • mobility concerns

  • dietary requirements

  • injuries or disabilities that may affect participation

We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests where possible.

6. Wildlife and Environmental Responsibility

Australia By Nature is committed to responsible tourism.

Guests agree to:

  • leave no trace

  • remain on designated tracks where instructed

  • never feed or disturb wildlife

  • respect culturally significant sites

  • dispose of rubbish responsibly

  • follow all National Park regulations

7. Seat Belts

Seat belts must be worn at all times while travelling in our vehicles, in accordance with Australian law.

8. Children

Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children throughout the tour.

9. Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their own belongings.

Australia By Nature accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal items.

10. Photography

During the tour, our guides may take photographs for promotional purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in any photographs or videos, please advise your guide before the tour commences.

11. Itinerary Flexibility

Our tours operate in natural environments where conditions can change.

For guest safety, wildlife opportunities and weather conditions, guides may alter the itinerary, walking routes or timing without prior notice.

12. Liability

While every reasonable care is taken, participation in outdoor activities involves inherent risks.

Guests participate at their own risk and acknowledge that Australia By Nature, its employees and contractors are not liable for injury, loss or damage except where required by Australian Consumer Law.

13. Sustainability

We encourage all guests to help us minimise our environmental impact by:

  • bringing a reusable water bottle where possible

  • respecting wildlife

  • reducing waste

  • supporting local businesses and communities

  • leaving every place better than we found it

14. Acceptance

Participation in an Australia By Nature tour confirms that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Zero Tolerance Policy

Australia By Nature has a zero tolerance policy towards violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, offensive language, threatening behaviour, sexual harassment, damage to property, or any behaviour that places our guides, guests, suppliers, wildlife, or members of the public at risk.

Australia By Nature reserves the right to refuse participation, remove a guest from a tour, or cancel a tour immediately where such behaviour occurs.

No refund or compensation will be provided where a guest is removed or a tour is cancelled due to inappropriate behaviour, intoxication, or breach of these terms.
